iPad iMS-20

The Korg iMS-20 is the virtual synth version of the Korg MS-20 for the Apple iPad. The iMS-20 looks and programs exactly like the original machine.
The app also includes a Korg SQ-10 Sequencer, a Pattern programmer, a Song mode and Effects.
Every Pattern contains 1 realtime Synth and 6 sampled Synths (Drums).
Every one of the 7 synths are programmed with 7 dedicated SQ-10 sequencers, for every one of the 16 Patterns.

Pros:
The Synth is exactly like the MS-20.
It accepts MIDI and the MS-20 USB Controller.
Wave file export.
You can seamlessly hook up the MS-20 USB-controller.
There are 2 KAOSS Pads for entering Notes and Automations.
Cons:
Parts of the workflow can be a bit un-intuitive at first.

This is the iMS-20 app connected to the "Korg MS-20 iC Legacy" USB-Controller. Even when you connect a cable on the Patch Panel, it also shows up on the iPad screen.

The iMS-20 was already available on the iPAD 1, so it works nicely with a relatively low hardare specification.

Each Session contains 16 Patterns. Each Pattern supports 1 Realtime Synth for every Pattern and 6 Sample Players for Session global "Drum" samples. The Drum samples are created using the same MS-20 Synth as the realtime Synth. When you're done creating a Sound, the Sound gets converted to a static sample for the "Drum". You are not limited to Drum sounds of course. You can also create Sound effects, Synth sounds, it does not matter.

You can Save a Session, and you can Save an individual Synth Patch, which you can Load into a Synth when needed.

You can Synchronise the iMS-20 to a MIDI Clock.
