The extra DX MAX functions

- 16 note X 1 voice normal polyphonic mode.
Stack mode (see below):
- 8 note X 2 voice (+ voice A).
- 4 note X 4 voice (+ voices A, B and C).
DETUNE A [-24..24] . [00..99]
Stack mode coarse and fine tuning
COARSE . FINE
DETUNE B [-24..24] . [00..99]
DETUNE C [-24..24] . [00..99]
MEMORY BANK 1 .. 8 MAX (4) gives 7 extra banks
VOLUME 1 .. 7 Master Volume
LOCAL CONT ON/OFF local control of the keyboard

What is stack mode?

By utilizing MAX(4)'s Stacking facilities 2 extra variations of a sound can be tuned and stacked on top of the original sound to make more authentic organ, 12-string guitar, chimes and many other unique effects easy to achieve.

POLY MODE
16*1 16 note X 1 voice: normal polyphonic mode, the extra voices A, B and C are off
8*2 8 note X 2 voice: the sound of the extra voice A is on
4*4 4 note X 4 voice: the sound of the extra voices A, B and C are on
STACK MODE COARSE TUNING Number before the dot: set the coarse tuning of voice A, B or C (-24 to +24 semitones)
STACK MODE FINE TUNING Number after the dot: set the fine tuning of voice A, B or C (0 to 99 of a semitone)
