PLAY

First play with different Patches for the 8 different Parts in a Preset Pattern

Switch On the D2
- The D2 is now in [PATTERN] Mode.
- also [PATTERN MUTE] is selected
- the Display shows the current Pattern Number [A01]

Press [PLAY]
- Choose a nice Pattern preset with the VALUE knob + ENTER
- the Pattern is immediately loaded into the Edit Buffer
- the Pattern contains 8 Parts (Tracks), every Part consists of a Patch, Meaures with sequences and automation
- Mute and unmute Parts to see which Part you wish to change

To see which Patch is loaded into each Part (Track) of the Pattern
- Press [PART SELECT]
- Press [DISPLAY] until PATCH LED lights up
- Part 1 is now selected, it shows Patch bank E, Patch 001 is loaded into Part 1

Change Patch for Part 5
- For clarity: press [PART MUTE] and mute all Parts, except R and 5
- Press [PART SELECT] and Press 5
- Turn the [VALUE] up or down.
- Press R
- Turn the [VALUE] up or down.
- you can not overwrite a Preset Pattern, because you can only write in User Memory

 

PROGRAMMING PREPARATION

Connect a keyboard MIDI OUT to the MIDI IN of the D2.

On the D2:
- Set the "AllChannel" On or Off.
- Press [PATTERN] Mode, to create a Pattern
- Select a User Pattern you wish to work on (eg [U01]), or another empty User Pattern

 

PROGRAMMING

Pattern [U01]:

On the D2, you first choose which one of the 8 Parts of this Pattern you are goin to work on.
Then you select a Patch for this Part, and then you can program the Sequencer of this Part:
- Press [DISLAY] until the PATCH LED lights up
- Press [PART SELECT] to see the the different Patches for each Part,

First, select one of the 8 Parts (= Track) of a Pattern
- Press "Part Select"
- select Part R, 1..7 - LED lights up
- press "Display" until PATCH LED lights
- select a Patch for this Part
