Entering pitches in realtime to a metronome

The metronome always gives you 2 Measures before the actual recording starts.
Each Measure starts with a high note.
- playing live: play the internal or external keyboard in time with the metronome
- tapping live: enter the pitches first and then tap the timing to the metronome

Playing live Tapping live
go to EDIT PITCH
  play the keyboard:
- enter the notes at ease one by one
- do not enter rest notes, the 202 does that for you
arm realtime recording:
- hold [SHIFT] + [REALTIME] - hold [SHIFT] + [TAP]
- keep holding [SHIFT]
the display shows the time setting: "4" means 4/4 time (see below)
- optional: press the number [1..9] to change the timing of the metronome
- press [START]
- release [SHIFT]
wait for 2 high pitches, and start playing on the 3rd high pitch
- play the keyboard - use the 2 blue [TAP] buttons
- press [STOP] when done
the MC-202 stops at the end of the current Measure

Some remarks

New Measures are automatically created at each high beep.
A silent Measure will have the following rest note:
- PITCH '3C', STEP=(depends on the time setting, see table below), GATE=0

When the MC-202 is in slave mode:
- the (DIN Sync) speed is regulated by the master
- if the unit seems to hang upon [START]: remove the "sync in" cable and it unlocks
