If you want to experiment yourself with the DS-10, I had pretty good results with the following setup.
Even on a slower tablet I experienced no dropouts in the sound:
- get your Android tablet (sorry, but Apple does not allow for emulators on iOS)

install the Nintendo DS DraStic emulator from the Google Play store
- download the Korg DS-10 Synthesizer ROM-cartridge
- connect a Bluetooth controller
- have fun
I used the emulator to create all of the screenshots.
